Product Showcase: Little Yellow Bicycle - 25 Days of Christmas

Hi Ladies!

For this month and part of next I will be showcasing some fun Products. For this Showcase.. and the next few to follow I will be using "Little Yellow Bicycle - 25 Days of Christmas " http://scrapbookdoodle.com/christmas.html patterned papers. I have had a lot of fun creating with this paper line.

I am going to start slow... adding to my creations a new product each week or so.

Let's get started with three of cards where I used this paper line.

Noel Card:

This card was pretty simple. Just Kraft Cardstock for the base and then the patterned paper and matching transparency. Add a ribbon with a few jingle bells on a safety pin and you are set!

Christmas Memories Card:

Here is another Card where I used Kraft Cardstock as a Base! I got a little creative and added some embossing over the Little Yellow Bicycle Patterned Papers. Although it does not show up too well the texture I created was fun. I used a TH snowflake stamp and used his embossing ink and powders in clear. After I embossed the snowflakes with the clear I then stamped over it again with the embossing ink and embossed it again with the white embossing powder. I then flipped over a piece of LYB paper to the white glossy side and used another TH stamp and
stamped the snowman with black archival ink. ( you could use Stazon too! Because the paper is glossy you need a perm. ink!). I cut out the snowman and tied a scarf around his neck (ribbon) then again "lifted" him off of the card with pop dots! I added the 3-D sticker to the top made by LYB!. Voila'!!

**Just Remember.. when using these glossy cardstocks ... you need to use archival or stazon Inks!

Santa Card:

Here is another simple card where I used Kraft Cardstock as my base. Isn't it amazing how Kraft Cardstock goes with so many things? I make sure to keep a supply around my house. Yvonne even sells it in the store in packs of 25! These papers by Little Yellow Bicycle are Glossy in texture. For the Santa I just flipped the patterned paper over
and used the blank, white Glossy side on the back. I used a TH stamp for santa and cut it out. I used pop dots to lift
Santa off the card a bit. I tied on the bow and added Jingle Bells with a safety pin. Added the Chipboard numbers
to the top of the card! Fun!
