Tea for Two review

I love this Pinky kit. Tea for Two as some great embellishments to play with and wonderful Echo Park paper. I know it is Christmas time but I have to tell you playing with some pink after red and green for awhile was a lot of fun.

Most of this comes from the kit. I added the tiny tag from my stash and then the stamps are not in the kit. I ghost stamped them for a shadow effect and was very happy with the look.

From the kit is the chipboard....fantastic colors with this paper. The GREAT glitter Thickers and 2 yards of pink and white twine. It is a great "girly" kit.

Wave hello to Hometown Summer~the kit that is

Hi, checking in on the blog and want to share some of the creations from Hometown Summer Pink Paislee kit found in the shoppe right now. I love the glitter borders found in the kit. Add to that some funky little felt flowers and a few yards of yellow twine. The paper is super yummy and the kit made up quite a bit. I completed 3 layouts and 3 cards with a bit of my scrap paper from my stash and I bought the punchouts. I would HIGHLY suggest buying the punchout add ons. Super cute. Well here are a few of my creations.

Do you ever stumble across something that is like a hidden gem for you? Something that might get looked over and when you find it, Bamm!! Wow!!! I LOVE IT?!! Where has this been all my life?

I know I do and want to start sharing my finds with you!!

This week as I was scrapping I stumbled across Prima's 12 x 12 chipboard Times Alphabet Stickers from the store. http://www.scrapbookdoodle.com/prima536909.html

They are a set of nice, thick, chipboard letters in a beautiful cream color. You know how you can always find a white, brown, or black, but never that cream color? Well here they are! Oh!.. did I mention... there are numbers included too? ... and then VOWELS!! There is not one each, but several of each of your vowels! .... WOW! Then to top it off they also have adhesive on the back!! Are you getting excited yet??

I love the script writing that is printed on the front of them. You can use them just about anywhere and they go with just about any paper line. They are that perfect size.. not to small.. not too large.. (think 12 x 12, 8.5 x 11, 8 x 8 6 x 12, and even cards!)

I have been creating with one set for a while now. So far I have created at least six layouts and a card and am still going strong.

When I opened the box this month I was thrilled! I love to create mini albums!
I started thinking about it right away. During the holidays it seems like I am always in a rush and it seemed like simple was in order.
This kit is just the ticket!

The Little Yellow Bicycle Mini Album is shaped just like a little package. The tablet of the die cut papers fit perfectly. Embellishments you say? Well Yvonne has taken care of that one for you too! It was really a snap to put together. I added a few extra embellishments that I found in the store and voila! I was done!

This kit is full of fall yummy. I love the cut outs that come in the kit. I love the deep teal color with the fall colors. The bakers twine is always a bonus and there is a nice amount of the twine.

Here in AZ I will throw a party of such when the temps come down. Summer has been to long. This is the Manufacture of the week at Scrapbook Doodle. I love Pink Paislee and this Halloween line is one of my favorites. I have saving it for to long so out it came last night for a quick card. I hope to play with the autumn line later this week.

Just "BE YOURSELF" with this kit!

Today I wanted to share with you a wall hanging I created with a few materials from the kit and a few I had laying around the house.

You can find most of the items in the Scrapbook Doodle Store.

I used blank chipboard as the base for this hanging, the paper and the flower are both from the "Pack Your Bag Kit " but can also be purchased individually in the store.

I also used from the store the Daisy Bucket "Be Yourself" Rub-on http://scrapbookdoodle.com/daisyrub9029.html and a Jenni Bowlin Butterfly http://scrapbookdoodle.com/butterflies1.html

I added some wire that I wrapped around a pencil to give it loops, some eyelets, some chipboard hearts and swirls I had laying around and then I linked them all together with Tim Holtz's Jump Rings that can also be found in the store. http://scrapbookdoodle.com/timholtz92726.html

I also wanted to say that I used diamond glaze on the chipboard swirl after I inked it. It gave it that three dimensional effect.

If anyone wants the entire instructions just email me. ;)

Now to get on the the IMPORTANT stuff!

No Travel Plans??

So you say you have no travel plans? That's OK! This kit still has you covered!

Check out the above three layouts that were created from photos
taken from normal daily shopping excursions and play! ( Well, the one in the middle
was from Disneyland but my hubby wanted to make sure I included it. He just loves showing off!)

This kit is easily adaptable to any photo! All I added to the kit was a few buttons and brads that I had laying around and voila'!

Pack Your Bags! Let's Get Going!

This month I got the opportunity to play with a "MEGA KIT" called "Pack your Bags" from Scrapbook Doodle! http://www.scrapbookdoodle.com/2010kitpack.html

Yvonne out did herself with this one. It is "packed" to the brim with goodies! The line it focuses on is the new travel line from Little Yellow bicycle. The paper has an awesome weight to it and a piece or two are even embossed for extra fun. I am in love with the transparency die cuts, embossed chipboard die cuts, prima flowers, stickers, and that is not even skimming the surface of this kit.

I have posted a couple of my "Travel" layouts above to get us started this week. Do not let this kit fool you though, it is so easy to create everyday layouts from it too! (more later on this! ;) )

The last of the featured creations from the Walk in the Park kit found in the shoppe at Scrapbook Doodle. I love the ducklings and just had to use them. There are five on the sticker sheet. Bubbles and Butterflies could it be summer

I don't know about the rest of you but summer is still on full blast here in AZ. These photos are from spring right after Easter a few years ago. We always give the kids bubbles. Bubbles work for summer, spring, and fall. I wanted to share this layout because of the large butterfly that is so beautiful. Remember my post yesterday about banners well there is another one following the butterfly. Again all papers and elements are from the Echo Park A Walk in the Park kit. Find it in the shoppe.

Do you love the banner look for your cards and scrapbook pages? I do so for my first one I carefully measured and cute out several of those cute little triangles, got out my stamps out and stamped up my title. Then I strung it up on my bakers twine that of course I bought from Scrapbook Doodle. Very happy with the results. Then the "A Walk in the Park" kit came in the mail. Upon opening it was the bright and colorful paper but stop there was this the sticker page. OH MY here are 3 sets of different colored letter stickers along with loads of pendant triangle stickers and more letter stickers. How easy can it be? Yep I have been making banners. The card shown zipped up in NO TIME. The bird is a sticker found in the kit along with the ribbon and heart sticker.
